I mostly use the quick rice setting, which honestly is not quick like others but takes a good 20-25 min. The rice comes out perfect and the best part is you just pop it in and forget about it. Other rice cookers I have used will cook the rice in less time but will also burn the bottom or leave this super thin layer of rice (paper?) along the bottom and sides of the rice. No issues like that here. It's cute and compact and easy to travel with if you're cooking at a friend's house. Makes enough rice to serve 4-6 adult sized portions when filled to the top (I'm single so this is great for leftovers!). Haven't tried the other functions yet, but am excited to see what they do! Oh, and clean up is super easy which is always a plus....
