This review is from: Oyama All Stainless Steel 7 Cup Rice Cooker / Warmer (Black)for the rice cooker this expensive, i am not at all impressed with this rice cooker. starchy water starts to leak every time rice starts to boil. this never happened with my $15 black and decker. too many small parts to clean. starch collector is a joke. nothing really collects except few drops. just one more piece to clean. one more piece to worry about misplacing. since it has a black lid, it looks very dirty once starch dries. needs cleaning after every use. the only reason i am keeping it is because it has stainless steel cooking pot without teflon. cooking pot is sturdy and rice does not stick. if you don't mind little mess and cleaning after each use, then it is healthier option for sure....
