This Rice cooker surprised me, it was very quick and cooked the rice to almost perfection. It keeps the Rice warm as well. I deliberately left it for up to six hours after cooking. The rice stayed warm, although it became a little sticky. It is easy to clean and stores easily. Really wanted one, but did I really need it? I cook rice several times a week and it works out fine in a pot. Well, I finally jumped in and bought this. Everytime I use it- I comment on how much I LOVE my rice cooker. Perfect rice- white and brown. Can make it before I start cooking or earlier in the day and it will stay on warm and stay moist and tasty. No worrying about a pot boiling over and making a mess. No need to time it perfectly to finish when food is ready. Easy to clean up. I use the lines inside the pot for the best success at the perfect amount of water. Follow the simple directions. And the best brown rice I have ever made!! Made the mistake of not looking at the chart the 1st time and used the same amount of water as white rice- ooops. Dry dry dry. It needs and extra cup of water. Perfect and delicious and so easy. I am going to make some right now. Yum. You will love this rice cooker. 1 touch button programming....
