I used it about twice a week. After about 7 months, the cooker completely lost power. Contacted to current seller who took over this business from the prior owner, and paid $20 shipping fee to get an outside shell without an inner pot. However, the cooker completely lost power at the middle of first use. The seller brought me a second shell, used 3 times and the power was completely lost at the middle of cooking again. My husband checked the bottom part of the rice maker and found that all plastic wraps outside of the electricity wires and plastic screws melt, and the circuit board fell off. Does this sound awful and dangerous? I have completely given up any efforts on this product and I am going to shop a rice cooker from other brand and other seller. The Zisha cooker has a clay pot inside the cooker, similar to the electrical version. The electrical version cooks the rice thru a pot with nonstick surface, the nonstick still come off overtime. This cause health concerns. Nothing would come off in the clay off. However the clay pot is breakable, but I had communication with the seller. The pot is replaceable. However the pot is very thick, so I don't expect the pot will break thru normal use. I am planning to buy more for my parents during Christmas....
