I no longer burn rice, I do own a rice cooker and was still burning the rice on the bottom of that device. This is my second Rice Cooker Tea Ball because the first one wore out,I used it all the time! I loved the first one I owned because the bottom was flat and would not roll around like this one does. This ball seems to be a bit larger than my last one. As far as I am concerned this is the only way to cook rice! I would buy another one even if it is completely round because there are always ways around the roundness of this product. Cleaning this product is easier than the conventional rice cooker or any pan I have ever used....
