Granted, none of them cost more than $30, but if we bought a higher quality rice cooker like this one, we would've saved money and frustration in the long run. I like how you can take the lid apart in order to clean it. The dimpled rice spatula keeps rice from sticking onto it. It has a little bit larger capacity which helps for dinner parties. I wish it came with a plastic rice scoop. For some reason they are hard to come by....
