The menu has a selection for scorched rice if you don't select that every sigle grai comes out perfect. I saved enough at COSTCO to pay for my membership! The service was courteous and fast. The product has worked great since.... Just a note, use Reset button to turn off instead of unplugging the power. That would avoid our problem in the first place....
